Harlow Carr Botanical Garden

Harlow Carr Botanical Garden which belongs to Royal Horticultural Society is one of four public gardens run by the Society. It is situated on the western outskirts of the city Harrogate in North Yorkshire. The garden is the most recent of those administered by RHS and resulted from the merger Society Horticultural Northern RHS in 2001.

At Harlow Carr can admire many areas, such as: Winter Walk, Kitchen Garden, Gardens Through Time, The Queen Mother’s lake, Woodland, Streamside, Wildflower meadow and bird hide, Arboretum, humus-rich terraces, Winter Garden, Scented Garden, Foliage Garden, Alpine House. It also owns and plant shop, teahouse and exhibition of annual and perennial plants.
