Considered authoritative an area of great beauty in the South Downs, Queen Elizabeth Country Park is 566 hectares of limestone hills and small shady forests of beech with picturesque hiking trails. You can climb to the top of Butser Hill (270 m) to have a splendid view of the coast. The park is 19 miles north of Portsmouth and 7 km south of Petersfield Georgian Fair, in a broad valley between wooded hills and broad meadows.
