Museum of Lincolnshire Life

Museum of Lincolnshire Life is in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, UK. The museum’s collection is a varied social history that reflects and celebrates the culture of Lincolnshire and people in the area, from 1750 to the present. Exhibits illustrate the commercial life, domestic, agricultural, industrial and community. The museum is housed in a former barracks built in 1857 for the Royal North Lincoln Militia. A major redevelopment of the museum is based on the military history, as explained and illustrated through a variety of methods. It houses one of the tanks designed for the first time during World War I by local firm William Foster & Co. of Lincoln. Tank called Flirt II, is a model Mark IV Female.
