Bloody Sunday Memorial

A basic rock pillar that celebrates the 14 regular people who were shot dead by the British Army on 30 January 1972. Wicked Sunday unfortunately reverberated Dublin’s Bloody Sunday of November 1920. Derry’s Bloody Sunday was a defining moment ever. On Sunday 30 January 1972, the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association composed a tranquil walk through Derry in challenge against internment without trial, which had been presented by the British government the earlier year.
